Agnes' Canine Health and Nutrition
Agnes is all about making dogs and cats happy, content and healthy as possible. Providing them company, exercise and healthy nutritious food. We believing that raw feeding is the closest form to their original diet for canines and cats and therefore are made to thrive on.
Raw feeding is never been easier! Check how much freezer storage space you have. Know how much to feed a day. Defrost your first tray (we usually do this overnight in the fridge). Work out when to feed and how much.

Why Should You Feed a Raw Diet?
The short answer is because it's the natural diet for dogs and cats -wild or domestic. Cooking is certainly unique to humans. There's no other species that does it. "Raw feeders believe this type of diet is superior to cooked and processed pet food. Why? This is the fare your dog’s ancestors eat in the wild and the food they’re designed to consume. Plus it's REAL..Raw diets contain fresh, raw, unprocessed foods and nutritionally - You can't beat that. Some benefits Reduced "doggy" odor. The odor of breath and stool will be greatly reduced. Reduced volume of stool. Because the food they eat is almost all used (absorbed) by their systems. Teeth will be whiter. The tooth-cleaning action of chewing on bones is fabulous. Reduced Vet bills. Most dogs that are on a natural diet are more healthy. They have stronger immune systems and are not over weight like more kibble fed dogs are. These all add up to less visits to the vet and over all less medical costs. Less hyper. Some dog owners have reported that after switching their dogs to a raw diet, their dogs seem to be less hyper and more calm. Less yeast build-up. Yeast infections in the ears have been known to disappear in dogs that have this problem. Decrease in skin irritations and hot spots. Greater ease in getting to and maintaining a healthy weight. Variety. The dogs absolutely love it in all its myriad forms. Increased muscle mass and improved energy level. Dogs will love and enjoy eating again. Reduced flea activity. Why? because the garlic that most raw feeders use is a natural anti flea / anti tick remedy. Anal glands are usually expressed naturally by forming firmer stools. Many pet allergies, such as skin scratching, redness etc. go away when a raw diet is fed. Dogs with various digestive problems often have their problems resolved, or at least controlled. Common terms for raw feeding also include: ancestral diet, species appropriate, and biologically appropriate. And guess what? Raw feeding has been around for thousands of years. Well before kibble was even invented. How’s that for ancestral? The bottom line: Raw feeding comes chock-full of benefits."
